Frequently Asked Questions for DJs
1
How long have you been a DJ?
I’ve been a DJ since I was 12 years old (over two decades!). Music has always been a passion of mine. It was my favorite hobby so I became a professional DJ and found a niche in weddings. Being a part of someone’s wedding is something that I take immensely serious. There are so many DJ companies where you have no idea who your DJ will be until the day of your event. I find this unacceptable and unprofessional so I wanted to create a company where you know what you’re getting and who you’re getting upfront. I will be there from your first consultation all the way through planning and playing at your event. If you want an experienced DJ who specializes in weddings, look no further!
2
Do You Travel?
Yes! I love destination weddings! There is an up charge for any destination weddings for travel and accommodations. Any venue within 60 miles of Denver has no additional cost.
3
Can we meet with you before booking?
Yes! I would love to meet with you to make sure I am what you’re looking for. Some companies pride themselves in “customer service”. I pride myself in customer experience. When you call someone angry, you get a person from customer service, customer experience is the opposite! Customer experience is having a great experience because of the support you get from me. There’s a huge difference between customer service and customer experience.
4
What’s your style?
I will cater to any vision you see for your wedding. I am professional, speak clearly and not cheesy. I absolutely love to get everyone’s energy level high before we start the reception.
5
How soon will you arrive before my wedding?
I will arrive at least 90 minutes before the event to ensure there are no sound or microphone issues. I have backup devices as well in case anything were to happen to any of my equipment.
6
Do you DJ/MC at other events besides weddings?
Absolutely! Weddings are my niche and specialty but I still love to play at parties and corporate events. I’d be happy to be a part of any event you’re planning.
7
How soon should I book?
The earlier you book, the better! I am the only DJ in the company so I can only attend one wedding per day. The earlier of a notice, the better the chances of my availability.
